Job Description
Join the Aramark team as a Post-Event Campsite Cleaner for an upcoming music festival in the Niagara Falls area! We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to ensure the festival grounds, specifically the camping areas, are returned to pristine condition after the event concludes. This is a temporary, labor-intensive role perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to the success of large-scale events. You will be instrumental in the breakdown and cleanup process, making sure the environment is clean, safe, and ready for future use.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of all types of waste, including general rubbish, recyclables, and discarded camping equipment, from designated campsite areas.
- Perform general site cleanup, including sweeping, raking, and litter picking across large outdoor spaces.
- Operate light cleaning equipment as needed (e.g., leaf blowers, pressure washers – training provided).
- Assist with the dismantling and removal of temporary structures or waste receptacles.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve cleanup goals within specified timelines.
- Report any hazardous conditions or large discarded items to supervisory staff.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, outdoor labor, or event cleanup is a plus.
- Experience with basic cleaning equipment.
- Availability for flexible shifts, including early mornings and potentially some evenings.
