Job Description

Join Bank of America as a Bank Teller, an essential role providing exceptional customer service and processing banking transactions. As a Bank Teller, you will handle a variety of transactions, answer customer inquiries, and identify opportunities to introduce customers to other banking products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
  • Open and close accounts as needed, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance customer experience.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in cash handling or customer service (minimum 6 months).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or some college coursework completed.
  • Previous experience as a bank teller.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus in the Miami area.
  • Familiarity with banking software and systems.
