Job Description
Join Bank of America as a Bank Teller, an essential role providing exceptional customer service and processing banking transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Open and close accounts as needed, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance customer experience.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cash handling or customer service (minimum 6 months).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or some college coursework completed.
- Previous experience as a bank teller.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus in the Miami area.
- Familiarity with banking software and systems.
