Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented AC Filter Maintenance Assistant for seasonal work in the vibrant Town Center area of Virginia Beach. This role is crucial in helping us deliver high-quality HVAC services by ensuring our clients’ air conditioning systems are running efficiently with clean filters. Key Responsibilities
- Replace AC filters in residential and commercial properties according to schedule and company standards.
- Perform basic visual inspections of AC units, noting any obvious issues to report to a senior technician.
- Maintain accurate records of filter changes and services performed.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy after service completion.
- Communicate courteously and professionally with customers.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use simple hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various environments (e.g., attics, crawl spaces).
- Reliable transportation to various job sites within the Virginia Beach area.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in maintenance, general labor, or a related field.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, even at a basic level.
- Customer service experience.
