Job Description
Join the high-energy team at Gill Dawg Tiki Bar and Grill as a Part-time Bartender, specializing in our bustling weekend nightlife. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Gill Dawg's recipes and standards.
- Interact positively with guests, taking orders, providing recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Process payments accurately using our POS system and manage cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, ingredients, and supplies.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal liquor laws and regulations, including verifying customer identification.
- Collaborate with other bar staff and servers to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setup and breakdown of the bar.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and a smile.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender, particularly in a high-volume setting.
- Excellent knowledge of drink preparation and standard cocktail recipes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
