Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Tempe, AZ. This unique role focuses on enhancing and expanding our internal employee engagement platform (metaphorically referred to as the ‘Pinterest Platform’) with a specific emphasis on Medical and 401k benefits. You will be responsible for defining the product strategy, roadmap, and features that make complex benefits information accessible, engaging, and personalized for our global employee base. This includes integrating new features, improving user experience, and ensuring compliance with healthcare and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong product management background, a passion for employee experience, and an understanding of the intricacies of medical and retirement benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the 'Pinterest Platform' specifically for Medical and 401k programs.
- Conduct user research, gather requirements, and analyze data to identify opportunities for platform enhancement related to employee benefits.
- Translate complex benefit policies and regulations into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, IT, and third-party benefit providers to ensure seamless integration and accurate information delivery.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration, using agile methodologies.
- Develop detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving data-informed decisions.
- Communicate product updates, timelines, and successes to stakeholders at all levels.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably with internal platforms or HR/employee experience products.
- Proven track record of managing and launching successful digital products.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis and A/B testing to drive product decisions.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex information and create intuitive user interfaces.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS systems or benefits administration platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare and retirement plan regulations (e.g., ERISA, HIPAA).
- Experience working in a large, global organization.
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Certification in Product Management (e.g., CSPO, Pragmatic Marketing).
