Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Junior Dock Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Tulsa. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of dock workers to ensure efficient freight handling and timely departures.
- Monitor loading and unloading processes, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards.
- Train and mentor new and existing dock employees, promoting best practices and skill development.
- Assist in scheduling shifts and managing daily workforce assignments to optimize productivity.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of freight movement, equipment usage, and employee performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
