Job Description
Are you a 17-year-old looking for your first job experience in a vibrant and supportive environment? Planet Fitness in Fayetteville is seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our members and guests. This entry-level role is perfect for a responsible teen eager to learn the ropes of customer service, front desk operations, and contributing to a positive community atmosphere. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet members and guests as they enter and exit the gym.
- Check in members using our membership system and assist with basic membership inquiries.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
- Provide information about club amenities, programs, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby.
- Assist with light administrative tasks as needed.
- Handle basic cash transactions and manage point-of-sale activities.
- Enforce club policies and procedures to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Report any equipment issues or member concerns to management.
- Foster a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all members.
Required Skills
- Must be 17 years old.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
