Are you a student eager to gain hands-on experience in market research, retail operations, and consumer insights? Target Corporation is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Secret Shopping Interns for our paid summer placement program in Cleveland, OH. This internship offers a unique opportunity to directly contribute to understanding and enhancing our guest experience by evaluating store performance from a customer’s perspective. You will conduct anonymous store visits, observe key operational metrics, and provide valuable feedback that directly influences strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assigned secret shopper visits to various Target locations and competitor stores within the Cleveland area, adhering strictly to provided guidelines and scenarios.
• Meticulously observe and document specific aspects of the shopping experience, including customer service, product availability, store cleanliness, merchandising, and promotional execution.
• Accurately record findings and submit detailed reports through our designated digital platform in a timely manner.
• Provide constructive and objective feedback based on observations, identifying areas of excellence and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments, observations, and findings.
• Collaborate with program mentors and team members to discuss insights and contribute to project debriefs.
• Adhere to all company policies and ethical guidelines for market research activities.

Required Skills

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (e.g., Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Communications, or related fields).
• Excellent observational skills and keen attention to detail.
