Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Center Admin to join our dynamic team. This essential role supports the efficient operation of our medical center by managing administrative tasks, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors and patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to service excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and registration processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in electronic health systems.
- Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and manage correspondence.
- Process insurance claims and assist with billing inquiries.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and privacy standards (HIPAA).
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other administrative documents as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare administrative processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Arabic) is a plus.
