Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Salon Sanitization Assistant for routine evening shifts at our Aurora, Colorado location. This vital role ensures that our salon maintains the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness, contributing to a safe and pleasant experience for both our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to following established sanitization protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough sanitization of all salon stations, chairs, and styling tools after each use or at designated intervals.
- Clean and sanitize sinks, shampoo bowls, and treatment areas.
- Ensure all high-touch surfaces, including door handles, reception desks, and product display shelves, are regularly disinfected.
- Restock cleaning supplies, towels, and client amenities as needed.
- Empty trash receptacles and manage waste disposal according to salon policies.
- Sweep and mop floors, ensuring all hair and debris are removed.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, including sanitizing fixtures and replenishing supplies.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to the salon manager.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines and salon cleaning procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during evening shifts.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs during shifts.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
