Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Pinterest Account Director to join our professional services team in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a critical role responsible for leading strategic client relationships, developing groundbreaking Pinterest marketing strategies, and driving significant growth for our top-tier clients. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the Pinterest platform, a proven track record of successful account management, and a passion for delivering measurable results in a fast-paced agency environment. You will serve as the primary strategic lead for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and the flawless execution of innovative campaigns that leverage Pinterest’s unique capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive Pinterest marketing strategies aligned with client business objectives.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value client accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships built on trust and strategic partnership.
- Oversee campaign planning, optimization, and reporting, ensuring performance targets are met or exceeded.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and regular performance updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, media, and analytics teams to ensure integrated and impactful campaign delivery.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development within existing client relationships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, Pinterest platform updates, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and innovation.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or advertising, with at least 3 years specifically managing Pinterest advertising campaigns for major brands.
- Proven expertise in Pinterest ad formats, targeting capabilities, analytics, and best practices.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex client relationships and driving client satisfaction.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics tools and reporting platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Previous agency experience working with Fortune 500 clients.
- Certification in Pinterest advertising or related digital marketing platforms.
- Experience with other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) is a plus.
