Job Description
Join the compassionate team at VCA Animal Hospitals as a Part-time Vet Receptionist with a special focus on weekend shifts. This local, on-site role in Burbank is perfect for an organized, empathetic, and dedicated individual who loves pets and is passionate about providing exceptional client service. You will be the first point of contact for pet owners, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth clinic operations, especially during our busy weekend hours. Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage client inquiries with professionalism.
- Maintain accurate patient records and client information using our practice management software.
- Process payments, explain billing, and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area and waiting room.
- Communicate effectively with veterinary technicians and doctors to ensure seamless patient flow.
- Handle stressful situations with grace and compassion, ensuring client satisfaction.
Required Skills
