Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, providing exceptional service and guidance on a wide range of financial products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and problem resolution in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other financial transactions accurately.
  • Educate members on available credit union products and services, identifying opportunities to deepen relationships.
  • Open new accounts and services for members, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adherence to all credit union policies and procedures.
  • Handle cash and negotiable instruments with precision and accountability.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and enhance member satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a financial or retail setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Demonstrated cash handling experience with accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a credit union or banking environment.
