Job Description

Are you passionate about weddings, highly organized, and a master of Pinterest? Bold Catering & Design is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Wedding Planner Assistant to join our team for the busy wedding season. This seasonal role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of luxury wedding planning. You will work closely with our lead planners, providing essential support from concept development to flawless execution, with a special emphasis on visual research and inspiration through Pinterest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead wedding planners with all aspects of event coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Conduct thorough research for wedding themes, color palettes, vendors, and unique design elements, primarily utilizing Pinterest and other online platforms.
  • Develop and maintain detailed mood boards, visual presentations, and client inspiration guides.
  • Manage vendor communications, including scheduling appointments, obtaining quotes, and confirming details.
  • Help prepare comprehensive event timelines, checklists, and day-of schedules.
  • Provide on-site support for wedding setups, coordination during events, and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing files.
  • Support client meetings and presentations by preparing materials and taking notes.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Pinterest for visual research, ideation, and organization.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, Google Workspace).

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various event venues within the Atlanta metro area.
