Job Description
Are you a detail-oriented individual with excellent listening skills and a keen eye for accuracy? Rev.com is seeking dedicated WFH Audio Transcribers to join our rapidly growing team. This is a 100% remote position, and we provide all necessary equipment to ensure you have the tools to succeed from day one. You will be responsible for converting spoken audio into accurate written text, working with a diverse range of content from interviews and podcasts to lectures and meetings. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio files into written text, maintaining high standards of quality and grammar.
- Review and edit transcripts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company style guidelines.
- Manage workload efficiently to meet daily transcription quotas and deadlines.
- Utilize provided transcription software and tools effectively.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all transcribed content.
- Communicate any challenges or technical issues promptly to support staff.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening comprehension and attention to detail.
- Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- High typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with various audio formats and transcription software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of experience in audio transcription or a related field.
- Experience with different accents and subject matters.
- Basic understanding of professional transcription style guides.
- Associate's degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
