Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Apple Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. This entry-level role is designed for individuals eager to grow their expertise in cloud architecture, specifically within the Apple ecosystem and AWS, through a dedicated mentorship program. You will work closely with senior architects and engineers, contributing to the design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions that support Apple-centric applications and services. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies, focusing on integrating Apple’s iCloud services with robust AWS infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, specifically tailored to support Apple application environments.
- Assist in the integration and management of iCloud services and APIs within our enterprise cloud architecture.
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance of systems.
- Contribute to documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and operational procedures.
- Learn and apply best practices for cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Engage actively in a structured mentorship program with experienced cloud architects.
- Research and evaluate new cloud technologies and tools relevant to Apple and AWS ecosystems.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Familiarity with either AWS or Apple ecosystem technologies (e.g., macOS, iOS development, iCloud).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) or programming (e.g., Swift, JavaScript).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate level certification.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
