Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete the UPS-sponsored CDL training program and obtain a Class A CDL.
- Operate tractor-trailer combinations in accordance with DOT regulations and UPS safety policies.
- Transport freight efficiently and securely between UPS hubs and customer locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
- Ensure timely departure and arrival at designated locations.
Required Skills
- Must be a current UPS employee in good standing.
- Ability to complete and pass all required DOT physicals and drug screens.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy to operate onboard systems and complete digital logs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail and time management.
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 3 years.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds.
