Job Description
As a Ride Attendant / Operator at Main Event Entertainment in Mesa, you will be a crucial part of delivering an exciting and safe experience for our guests. Your main responsibilities will involve the safe and efficient operation of our diverse attractions, ensuring guests adhere to safety guidelines, and maintaining a welcoming and clean environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate assigned attractions, including virtual reality experiences, laser tag arenas, and other entertainment options, following all established procedures and safety protocols.
- Provide outstanding guest service, warmly greeting visitors, assisting with inquiries, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Enforce all attraction rules and regulations, ensuring guests meet participation requirements and understand safety guidelines.
- Conduct routine pre-opening, during-operation, and post-closing inspections of attractions and equipment, completing all necessary checklists.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of attraction areas, including game floors, seating, and surrounding facilities.
- Address guest feedback and concerns with professionalism, escalating complex issues to management as needed.
- Assist guests with the proper use of equipment and ensure a smooth flow of activity at each attraction.
- Actively participate in all mandatory safety training sessions and adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- A strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as our entertainment center operates during peak times.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, navigate busy environments, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine passion for creating enjoyable guest experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service, hospitality, or entertainment-related role.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
- Familiarity with basic technology or arcade systems is a plus.
