Job Description
Are you a motivated high school student looking for your first job experience? Target in Roseville is seeking enthusiastic 16-year-old teens to join our team for afternoon shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop customer service skills, and contribute to a fast-paced retail environment. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your school commitments, a supportive team, and a chance to learn the ins and outs of a major retail operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Assist with merchandising and presentation of products.
- Provide support to other team members as needed.
- Learn and adhere to company policies and safety procedures.
- Operate cash register if trained and assigned.
- Ensure a positive shopping experience for all guests.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work afternoon shifts, typically after school hours.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Previous volunteer experience or school activities demonstrating responsibility is a plus, but not required.
