Job Description

Join the Whole Foods Market team as an Order Picker, where you’ll play a crucial role in our inventory and fulfillment operations. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals ready to learn and grow, with no prior experience necessary as comprehensive voice picking training will be provided. In this on-site role, you will accurately and efficiently pick products from our warehouse shelves using an advanced voice picking system, ensuring orders are correctly prepared for our customers. This position requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate voice picking technology to accurately locate and retrieve products based on order specifications.
  • Ensure the correct quantity and quality of items are picked to fulfill customer orders.
  • Safely and efficiently move products to designated staging areas for packing and shipment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
  • Report any discrepancies or product damage to supervisors promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.

Required Skills

  • Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in English.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or food service environment (not required but a plus).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack – training can be provided).
