Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Receptionist Assistant to join our team for part-time morning shifts in our Ogden facility. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This position is perfect for someone who is organized, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, specifically looking for consistent morning hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, managing calendars effectively.
  • Process patient registrations, update records, and verify insurance information.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
