Job Description

Truist Bank is seeking dedicated and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Virtual Bank Tellers. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional banking services to our clients from the comfort of your home. You will be responsible for handling a variety of client transactions and inquiries, ensuring accuracy and delivering a seamless banking experience through virtual channels. We provide all necessary equipment to set you up for success in this 100% remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process client transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, through virtual platforms.
  • Assist clients with account inquiries, statement requests, and basic problem resolution via phone, chat, and video conferencing.
  • Educate clients on Truist products and services that may benefit their financial needs.
  • Identify and refer clients to appropriate specialists for more complex financial advice or services.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all banking regulations and security procedures.
  • Verify client identities and detect potential fraud or suspicious activities.
  • Manage a queue of incoming client interactions and ensure timely responses.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
  • Customer service orientation with a desire to help clients.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in banking, customer service, or a call center environment.
  • Experience handling cash or financial transactions.
  • Associate's degree or some college coursework in business or finance.
