Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and dependable Vault Teller Specialist to join our team in New Port Richey, FL. This crucial role is responsible for the secure and accurate handling of large volumes of cash and other negotiable instruments within the branch vault. The successful candidate will ensure all transactions are processed with exceptional precision, maintain strict adherence to security protocols, and support the overall operational efficiency of our branch. This is an office-based position requiring a strong commitment to accuracy and detail in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the branch vault, including receiving, disbursing, and balancing large cash shipments.
- Verify and reconcile cash, coin, and other negotiable instruments with meticulous accuracy.
- Process and prepare cash orders for tellers and other branch departments.
- Maintain precise records of all vault transactions and inventory.
- Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and security protocols related to cash handling and vault operations.
- Assist in regular internal and external audits of vault contents and records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or suspicious activities promptly.
- Collaborate with branch management and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
