Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and meticulous Online Records Assistant to join our administrative team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the accurate and confidential management of sensitive patient records, specifically those pertaining to 15-year-old teens. This position requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills, a commitment to data integrity, and a deep understanding of patient confidentiality protocols. You will play a vital part in ensuring that all patient information is meticulously maintained, easily accessible to authorized personnel, and compliant with all relevant healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update electronic and, when necessary, physical records with impeccable precision and accuracy.
- Ensure the utmost confidentiality and security of all sensitive patient information, particularly records related to minors.
- Assist healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and other authorized personnel in retrieving, organizing, and filing patient data efficiently.
- Perform regular audits of patient records to verify completeness, accuracy, and adherence to healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and internal policies.
- Respond to requests for information in a timely, professional, and compliant manner, strictly following all privacy guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments to streamline record-keeping processes and improve data management workflows.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in patient records promptly and accurately.
- Provide administrative support as needed to facilitate the smooth operation of records management.
Required Skills
