Job Description

As a Personal Grocery Shopper, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing convenience to our customers’ doorsteps. You’ll use your smartphone to accept orders, accurately select high-quality groceries from local stores, and deliver them with a friendly smile. This role offers the ultimate flexibility – choose your own hours and work when it suits your schedule, making it perfect for students, parents, or anyone seeking supplemental income. Key Responsibilities
- Accept and review customer orders through the Instacart app on your smartphone.
- Accurately select the freshest produce, highest quality meats, and correct grocery items according to customer preferences.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items.
- Handle all items with care, ensuring proper bagging and temperature control for refrigerated/frozen goods.
- Efficiently navigate grocery store aisles to fulfill orders within a timely manner.
- Safely and promptly deliver groceries to customers' homes or designated delivery points.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
- Manage payments and transactions via the Instacart app.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate item selection.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology (iOS or Android).
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be 18 years or older.

- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or delivery roles.
- Familiarity with grocery store layouts in the El Paso area.
