Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse / Logistics Manager to oversee our operations in Reno, Nevada. This critical role involves managing all aspects of warehouse activities, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
- Optimize logistics processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
- Manage inventory control, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to manage and track inventory and shipments.
- Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or Logistics Manager.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in logistics or supply chain (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with international shipping and customs procedures.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
