Job Description
Join BrandSafway’s team as an Entry Level Fire Watch professional, based out of our Murrieta, CA office. This vital safety role involves providing vigilant fire prevention and safety monitoring services at various industrial client sites, including critical refinery environments often located in Houston, TX, and other regions. While your base of operations will be Murrieta for training and deployment coordination, expect to travel to client sites for project durations. You will be responsible for identifying and mitigating fire hazards, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and acting as an immediate responder in emergency situations. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor designated hot work areas (welding, cutting, grinding) for potential fire hazards.
- Maintain a clear understanding of the work area, including exits, fire extinguishers, and emergency contact information.
- Act as an immediate responder in the event of a fire, utilizing appropriate firefighting equipment.
- Communicate effectively with hot work operators, supervisors, and other personnel regarding safety procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of the work area for combustible materials and hazardous conditions.
- Document all monitoring activities, incidents, and safety observations accurately.
- Participate in all required safety training and adhere to BrandSafway and client safety regulations.
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order and readily accessible.
- Provide clear and concise verbal warnings to workers in dangerous situations.

Preferred Qualifications
