Job Description

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for watching a diverse range of Netflix content and meticulously applying tags based on various metadata criteria. Key Responsibilities
- Watch and analyze a wide variety of Netflix films, TV series, documentaries, and specials.
- Apply accurate and consistent metadata tags (e.g., genre, subgenre, themes, mood, tone, character types, plot elements, cultural references) according to established guidelines.
- Identify and categorize key narrative elements, visual characteristics, and auditory cues within content.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of tagged data to enhance content discoverability and recommendation algorithms.
- Provide detailed feedback on content and tagging guidelines to improve workflows and accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and meet daily/weekly tagging targets.
- Participate in regular training and calibration sessions to stay updated on tagging standards and new content types.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in content.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Deep passion for film, television, and media content across various genres.
- Excellent comprehension and written communication skills in English.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient with basic computer applications and internet navigation.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity during extended viewing sessions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in content analysis, metadata management, or similar media-related roles.
- Background in film studies, media studies, library science, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Netflix's content library and user experience.
