Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Social Media Moderator to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and categorizing user-generated content across various social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and company policies. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe and positive online environment for millions of users. You will work independently from your home office, utilizing provided tools and adhering to strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and categorize a high volume of user-generated content (posts, comments, images, videos) according to established guidelines and policies.
  • Identify and take appropriate action on content that violates community standards, including hate speech, spam, misinformation, and graphic material.
  • Escalate complex or ambiguous content moderation cases to senior moderators or specialized teams when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving content policies and platform features.
  • Provide constructive feedback on guidelines and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold company values while working remotely.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Strong ethical judgment and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and web browsers.
