Job Description
Microsoft is seeking a highly meticulous and organized WFH Microsoft Quality Assurance Aide to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy for our products and internal processes through detailed documentation and thorough testing support. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology from anywhere within the United States. You will work closely with development and QA teams, providing critical support in documenting test cases, results, and contributing to the overall quality lifecycle. Ideal candidates possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation, maintenance, and review of detailed test plans and test cases.
- Document test results, defects, and observations with precision and clarity.
- Support Quality Assurance engineers in executing manual tests across various platforms and applications.
- Verify compliance of products with established specifications and quality standards.
- Organize and maintain comprehensive documentation archives for all QA activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and quality objectives.
- Identify and report discrepancies or issues in documentation or product functionality.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English.
- Basic understanding of software quality assurance principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a documentation or administrative support role.
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking or project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
