Job Description
Are you a friendly, energetic, and dedicated individual looking to start or advance your career in the hospitality industry? Hilton Garden Inn Wolverhampton is seeking a proactive Hotel Porter to join our exceptional team. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and lasting first impression. You will assist guests with luggage, provide information, and ensure the smooth operation of our front-of-house services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-class hotel experience, with the added benefit of staff discounts on rooms and food across the Hilton portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, ensuring safe and efficient transportation to and from rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities and services.
- Manage incoming and outgoing parcels and mail for guests and the hotel.
- Assist with the general upkeep and cleanliness of the lobby and entrance areas.
- Provide information about local attractions, dining, and transportation options.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously.
- Support other hotel departments as needed, particularly front desk and concierge services.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Ensure the security of guest belongings and hotel property.
