Job Description
Impark is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Parking Garage Ticket Dispenser Restocker – Maintenance in Squamish, BC. In this vital on-site role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of our parking equipment by regularly restocking ticket and receipt paper, performing routine preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting minor issues. This position requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently to maintain optimal functionality across our parking facilities. You will be an integral part of ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly monitor and restock ticket and receipt paper in all designated parking garage dispensers.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on parking equipment, including cleaning, inspecting components, and lubricating moving parts as needed.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting for minor equipment malfunctions and perform simple repairs or adjustments.
- Identify and report major equipment issues to the maintenance supervisor for advanced repair.
- Maintain accurate records of supplies used, maintenance performed, and issues encountered.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other general facility maintenance tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor repairs and troubleshooting.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), and prolonged standing/walking.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities support role.
- Familiarity with parking equipment or similar automated systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for record-keeping.
