Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analytics Specialist with a strong focus on AI and Business Intelligence to join our dynamic team at Walmart Global Tech. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making across various business units. You will leverage advanced analytical techniques, machine learning, and AI models to uncover trends, predict outcomes, and optimize business processes. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and present findings effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust data models, dashboards, and reports using BI tools to monitor key performance indicators and business trends.
- Utilize AI and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and generate predictive insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of new features and initiatives.
- Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all analytical projects.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and advancements in data science and AI.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation
- Strong experience with Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
- Expertise in Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Experience with MLOps practices and deploying AI models into production
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
- Previous experience in the retail or e-commerce industry
- Knowledge of experiment design and causal inference methods
