Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Content Uploader to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This part-time position is ideal for a current Gonzaga University student looking to gain practical experience in digital content management, social media, and web platforms. The primary focus will be on uploading and scheduling blog posts and social media content, ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and content strategies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the university’s online presence and learn about digital content workflows in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, format, and publish blog posts using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or similar platforms.
- Schedule and publish social media content across various platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Ensure all uploaded content adheres to established brand guidelines, style guides, and SEO best practices.
- Perform basic image optimization (resizing, cropping) for web and social media use.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all published content for accuracy, grammar, and functionality.
- Assist with content calendar management and tracking content performance.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing specialists to streamline content workflow.
- Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications team as needed.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled as a student at Gonzaga University.
- Proficiency with general computer applications and web browsers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written communication skills and a good grasp of grammar and spelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
