Job Description

Bose Corporation is seeking a Remote Audio Advocate with a strong customer experience focus to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within the United States. As an Audio Advocate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them resolve technical issues, answering product inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience with their Bose products. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction by demonstrating empathy, technical proficiency, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level technical support for Bose audio products via phone, email, and chat, troubleshooting issues ranging from setup to advanced functionality.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, educating customers on product features, benefits, and optimal usage to enhance their audio experience.
  • Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately and thoroughly in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to escalate complex issues and provide customer feedback for product improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Bose products, technologies, and service offerings through continuous learning and training.
  • Identify opportunities to delight customers and exceed their expectations, contributing to a positive overall brand perception.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Proven ability to actively listen, empathize, and build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Basic technical aptitude and familiarity with consumer electronics, particularly audio equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other communication tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service or technical support, preferably in the consumer electronics or audio industry.
  • Familiarity with various audio technologies, such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi audio, and home theater systems.
  • Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud or similar CRM platforms.
  • Multilingual abilities (especially Spanish), a plus.
