Job Description
Are you a travel enthusiast with exceptional customer service skills looking for a flexible part-time role? Expedia Group is seeking a dedicated Weekend Reservationist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers planning their weekend getaways and travel adventures. You will assist with booking flights, hotels, car rentals, and vacation packages, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from your home office while connecting with travelers across the globe. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with travel inquiries and provide accurate information regarding destinations, pricing, and travel options.
- Process new reservations for flights, accommodations, car rentals, and package deals using Expedia's booking systems.
- Modify existing bookings, handle cancellations, and address customer requests efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel products, services, and promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and a consistent customer experience.
- Accurately record customer information and reservation details in the system.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a proven ability to de-escalate situations.
- Proficiency in computer navigation and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
- Availability to work consistently on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or call center environment.
- Familiarity with travel booking systems or GDS (Global Distribution System).
