Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pinterest API Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for leveraging the Pinterest API to develop, optimize, and manage integrations for our clients, enhancing their presence and performance on the Pinterest platform. You will work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and maximizing API capabilities. This role requires deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of Pinterest’s ecosystem, and a passion for data-driven marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations with the Pinterest API for various client needs, including ad campaign management, content publishing, and analytics reporting.
- Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and data integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, sales) to understand requirements and provide technical guidance on Pinterest API capabilities and best practices.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for API integrations, processes, and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with Pinterest API updates, new features, and changes, and proactively recommend adoption strategies.
- Implement and optimize Pinterest tracking pixels and conversion APIs to improve data accuracy and campaign attribution.
- Conduct regular audits of existing integrations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide technical support and expertise for Pinterest-related projects and campaigns.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience working with the Pinterest API, including deep knowledge of its various endpoints and functionalities.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PHP) for API integration and development.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication flows.
- Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related technical field.
- Experience with other social media APIs (e.g., Facebook Graph API, Instagram API).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless functions.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and marketing analytics.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
