Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Financial Admin Support professional to join our team in Cardiff Bay. This exciting opportunity involves providing essential administrative and financial assistance primarily for projects related to our key technology clients, including initiatives with Google. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes, data management, and reporting, contributing directly to project success. This role offers the stability of full-time employment with the convenience of weekly pay, allowing you to manage your finances effectively while developing valuable skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain financial records, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting activities for assigned projects.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for project managers and stakeholders.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding financial matters.
  • Support ad-hoc administrative tasks as required by the finance and project teams.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an administrative or financial support role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A-Levels or equivalent in a business or finance-related subject.
  • Experience with financial software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with project-based accounting or financial tracking.
  • Previous experience working within a professional services environment.
