Job Description
Join our dynamic logistics team as a Bread Delivery Offsider for night shifts! In this crucial role, you will assist our delivery drivers in ensuring that fresh bread and bakery products reach our customers efficiently and on time. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding position that involves loading, unloading, organizing, and delivering products to various retail locations throughout the Frisco area. If you’re a night owl with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a team that brings fresh products to market, we encourage you to apply. Experience in logistics or delivery is a plus, but not required – we are looking for reliable individuals eager to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading bakery products from delivery vehicles.
- Verify product counts and ensure accurate deliveries according to invoices and schedules.
- Organize and stack products efficiently within the delivery vehicle and at customer locations.
- Ensure the safe and timely transportation of goods to various retail outlets.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and store personnel.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support delivery operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliability and punctuality are paramount.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or delivery role.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
