Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children of all ages.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and educational play.
- Adhere to household rules and routines as communicated by parents.
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children's activities and well-being.
- Ensure the children's environment is clean, safe, and organized.
- Handle basic meal and snack preparation as needed.
- Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or unexpected situations.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of documented experience working with children.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a professional childcare setting, such as a daycare, preschool, or nannying.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or child development.
- Strong positive references from previous childcare roles.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
