Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, nurturing, and engaging care for children of all ages.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and educational play.
  • Adhere to household rules and routines as communicated by parents.
  • Maintain open and clear communication with parents regarding children's activities and well-being.
  • Ensure the children's environment is clean, safe, and organized.
  • Handle basic meal and snack preparation as needed.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to any emergencies or unexpected situations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of documented experience working with children.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a professional childcare setting, such as a daycare, preschool, or nannying.
  • Relevant certifications in early childhood education or child development.
  • Strong positive references from previous childcare roles.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
