Job Description
The Nanny Solution is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy Babysitter for casual night work in various family homes across Mississauga. This role is perfect for individuals looking for flexible evening and weekend hours, providing essential childcare services while parents are out. Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging supervision for children of varying ages.
- Follow children's routines, including meal times, bath time, and bedtime.
- Prepare simple meals or snacks as required.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as reading, games, and creative play.
- Maintain a safe and tidy environment in the family home.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's activities and any notable events.
- Handle minor first aid situations and emergencies calmly and competently.
- Ensure all household rules and parental instructions are followed.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in childcare (babysitting, nannying, or similar).
- Ability to engage children in stimulating and safe activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Basic first aid knowledge (certification preferred).
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different family routines.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Preferred Qualifications
