Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Wellness Center Cleaner to join our team in Dore, Sheffield. This part-time position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a quiet setting and prefers evening work. You will be responsible for maintaining the pristine cleanliness and hygiene of a serene wellness center, ensuring a calm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors. The role involves detailed cleaning tasks, adhering to high standards of sanitation and presentation, primarily outside of operating hours to minimize disruption. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas within the wellness center (reception, treatment rooms, changing rooms, restrooms, common areas).
- Sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces, equipment, and fixtures.
- Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with supplies.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a respectful and quiet presence, especially during the specified evening hours.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are stored safely and correctly.
- Replenish supplies as needed, reporting stock levels to management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning, preferably within a healthcare, wellness, or hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal) to liaise with supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- COSHH certification.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience working in a spa or wellness center environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing cleaning requirements or schedules.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
