Job Description
Are you a professional CDL-A driver looking for consistent, high-paying work without the hassle of loading or unloading freight? Schneider is actively seeking dedicated CDL-A drivers for a No-Touch freight position based out of Colorado Springs. This role offers the financial stability of up to $105,000 annually, combined with the ease of drop-and-hook or live load/unload, but absolutely no driver touch freight. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight on designated routes, adhering to schedules and delivery timelines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and submit necessary paperwork.
- Ensure securement of freight (though no physical loading/unloading required from driver).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Represent Schneider professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Minimum of 24 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dry van or reefer freight.
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Proven record of on-time deliveries and excellent customer service.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routes.
