Job Description
Join FedEx as a Parcel Processing Worker for our critical night shifts in York, PA. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and scan packages efficiently according to destination and size.
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Operate equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts (if certified), and pallet jacks safely.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily processing targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs.
- Comfortable working night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Basic literacy and numerical skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
