Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Employee Motivation Lead to join our Human Resources team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and overall motivation across our diverse workforce. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating positive workplace cultures and a proven track record in developing impactful employee experience strategies. This role offers the flexibility of working from our Grand Rapids corporate office or remotely, requiring excellent self-management and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive employee motivation and engagement strategies aligned with company values and business objectives.
  • Design and manage recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and professional development opportunities.
  • Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to gauge employee sentiment and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze data and metrics related to employee engagement, turnover, and productivity to inform future programs.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, department heads, and senior leadership to champion a culture of positive reinforcement and growth.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to foster a motivating and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in employee motivation and workplace psychology.
  • Act as a central point of contact for employee concerns and suggestions related to workplace experience.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Employee Experience roles.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective employee engagement and motivation programs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and employee survey platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or Change Management.
  • Experience with global or large-scale organizations.
  • Familiarity with workplace design principles and their impact on employee well-being.
