Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Electronic Gaming Auditor for our night shift operations in Jacksonville, FL. This critical role involves ensuring the integrity and compliance of all electronic gaming devices, including arcade machines and casino gaming terminals. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough audits, verifying payouts, tracking machine performance, and identifying any discrepancies or potential issues during the overnight hours. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong ethical standards, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of electronic gaming machines, including arcade and casino terminals, during the night shift.
- Verify machine payouts, cash box contents, and revenue counts in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Monitor gaming operations for compliance with all local, state, and federal gaming regulations.
- Identify and document any discrepancies, irregularities, or potential fraudulent activities.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
- Maintain accurate records of all audited machines and related documentation.
- Collaborate with security and surveillance teams to investigate any suspicious activities.
- Perform routine checks on gaming equipment to ensure proper functionality and security.
- Provide recommendations for improving audit processes and internal controls.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proven integrity and strong ethical conduct.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in auditing, loss prevention, or a similar role, particularly within the gaming or hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with electronic gaming machine operations and regulatory requirements.
