Job Description
Deloitte is seeking a highly meticulous and experienced WFH Document Reviewer with a strong focus on legal and finance documentation. This fully remote position requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of legal and financial terminology and concepts. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and categorizing a high volume of complex documents to support various projects related to regulatory compliance, litigation, and financial audits. This role is critical in ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established guidelines and legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and accurate review of legal and financial documents, including contracts, agreements, regulatory filings, financial statements, and correspondence.
- Identify, tag, and redact sensitive or privileged information in accordance with project protocols and legal requirements.
- Categorize documents based on relevance, subject matter, and strategic importance using specialized review platforms.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality control standards and project timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and other reviewers to resolve ambiguities and ensure consistent application of review criteria.
- Provide regular updates on review progress and identify potential issues or challenges.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times when handling sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in document review, preferably with a focus on legal and/or financial documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify critical information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in document management software and e-discovery platforms.
- Solid understanding of legal and financial terminology, concepts, and document types.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high productivity in a remote environment.
- High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience with large-scale document review projects.
- Familiarity with various regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, SEC filings).
- Experience using AI/ML-assisted review tools.
- Certifications in legal support or financial analysis.
