Job Description
Are you passionate about music and eager to inspire young minds? Bright Horizons is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Preschool Music Instructor to join our vibrant team in Overland Park. This is an incredible entry-level opportunity for individuals with no prior experience in teaching, but a strong love for music and children. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging music programs that introduce preschoolers to the joy of rhythm, melody, and expression. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate music lessons and activities for preschoolers (ages 3-5).
- Lead engaging group sessions, incorporating singing, movement, instrument play, and musical games.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel comfortable exploring music.
- Introduce basic musical concepts such as tempo, pitch, and rhythm in a fun and interactive way.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader curriculum.
- Manage classroom materials and ensure a safe and organized learning space.
- Observe and assess children's engagement and progress in musical activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding program activities and child development.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
