Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Data Processor to join our remote team. This role is critical for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of pharmacy-related data, vital for prescription fulfillment, insurance claims, and patient records. As a Pharmacy Data Processor, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of data entry tasks, maintaining data integrity, and adhering to strict privacy and compliance guidelines from a 100% remote work environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry of pharmacy information, including prescriptions, patient demographics, and insurance details, with accuracy and speed.
  • Verify data consistency and completeness across various systems and sources.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in data, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to all HIPAA regulations and company privacy policies.
  • Assist with data audits and quality control checks to ensure data integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to clarify data requirements and resolve issues.
  • Adapt to evolving software and data entry procedures.
  • Manage workflow efficiently to meet daily processing targets and deadlines.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in high-volume data entry or a related administrative role.
  • Proven ability to maintain extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, data entry software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a remote setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Understanding of data privacy principles and commitment to confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, or medical office setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and/or prescription drug names.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.
