Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Social Media Strategist with a strong performance marketing focus to join our dynamic team in Arlington Heights. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and measurable business outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various social media platforms, analytics, and best practices for optimizing campaigns for performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and client services, to ensure cohesive and impactful social media presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client business objectives and performance KPIs.
- Manage and optimize paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok to achieve performance goals (e.g., lead generation, conversions, website traffic).
- Conduct in-depth audience research, competitive analysis, and trend monitoring to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content for various social media channels, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and sentiment, providing insights and recommendations.
- Analyze social media campaign performance using analytics tools, generate detailed reports, and present actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other marketing specialists to produce compelling social media assets.
- Manage social media budgets effectively to maximize ROI.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media marketing with a strong focus on performance and paid social campaigns.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that achieve measurable results.
- Expertise in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns across major platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
- Proficiency with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, native platform insights, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, SEO principles for social, and content optimization techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling copy and present complex data clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an agency environment or for a BPO company.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or other relevant social media advertising platforms.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) for social campaigns.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and how social media integrates with broader marketing automation.
- Experience with influencer marketing and community management.
